THE NATIONAL TRUST CENTER ETHICS AND CODE OF CONDUCT


The Center is focused on advanced training and protocols that help to create positive outcomes throughout. In this moment in history when heinous acts are increasingly commonplace, leaders at all levels must continuously think and act to be more resilient, must work to reduce loss of life, protect assets and reinforce an environment where life is sacrosanct. Through a program of ongoing training and collaboration across constituencies, The National TRUST Center endeavors to build enduring, resilient organizations and communities worldwide.


PURPOSE


Our purpose for authoring a publication on ethics is to emphasize the employee’s and our clients/customers expectation to be treated to fair business practices. This policy will serve to guide business behavior to ensure ethical conduct.


SCOPE


This policy applies to employees, contractors, suppliers, consultants, contract personnel, interns, and other workers and volunteers at The National TRUST Center including all personnel affiliated with third parties.


POLICY


Executive Commitment to Ethics


The Senior Executives, Key Leadership, and the Board within The National TRUST Center are committed to setting the tone for the company and leading by example. Executives must have an open door policy and welcome suggestions and concerns from employees. This will allow employees to feel comfortable discussing any issues and will alert executives to concerns within the work force. Executives must disclose any potential or known conflict of interests regarding their position within The National TRUST Center.


Employee Commitment to Ethics


The National TRUST Center employees will treat everyone fairly, have mutual respect, promote a team environment and avoid the intent and appearance of unethical or compromising practices. Every employee needs to apply effort and intelligence in maintaining ethics value. Employees must disclose any conflict of interests regard their position within The National TRUST Center. Employees will help to increase customer and supplier satisfaction by providing quality services, products and timely responses to inquiries.


Company Awareness


Promotion of ethical conduct within interpersonal communications of employees will be rewarded. The National TRUST Center will promote a trustworthy and honest atmosphere to reinforce the organization’s vision of ethics within the company.


Maintaining Ethical Practices


Will reinforce the importance of the integrity message and the tone will start at the top. Every employee, manager, director needs to consistently maintain an ethical stance and support ethical behavior. Employees at The National TRUST Center should encourage open dialogue, get honest feedback and treat everyone fairly, with honesty and objectivity.


Unethical Behavior


The National TRUST Center will avoid the intent and appearance of unethical or compromising practice in relationships, actions and communications. The National TRUST Center will not tolerate any forms of harassment or discrimination. Unauthorized use of internal information, customer information, company trade secrets & marketing, operational, personnel, financial, source code, & technical information integral to the success of our company will not be tolerated. The National TRUST Center will not permit impropriety at any time and we will act ethically and responsibly in accordance with laws. The National TRUST Center employees will not use corporate assets or business relationships for personal use or gain.


Enforcement


Any infractions of this code of ethics will not be tolerated and The National TRUST Center will act quickly in correcting the issue if the ethical code is broken. Any employee found to have violated this policy may be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment. Any supplier found to have violated this policy may be subject to contract review.
